La Ventana isn’t just where these ponchos are handmade—it’s a place that holds deep meaning for us. Known for its steady winds and vibrant kiteboarding community, La Ventana has been a second home, a playground, and a place of connection for our family.
We spent countless hours on the water here with our dad, sharing in the thrill of adventure and the beauty of the Baja coastline. Though he is no longer with us, this place keeps his spirit alive. It’s where we remember him, where we feel closest to him, and where his love for adventure lives on.
This collaboration brings together Kay Kay, the founder of SURreal, the incredibly talented sisters who handcraft these ponchos in La Ventana, and us—sisters Kailey & Karissa of Iksplor—to create something truly special. Each poncho is a celebration of adventure, craftsmanship, and the connections that shape us.
