We shortened this fit. It sits snug against the head instead of slouching, so there's no extra bulk to bunch up under a helmet or slide down over eyes. Fold the brim for extra warmth around the ears.

Sizes run small (0-6mo), medium (6-24mo), large (2-12yr), and adult (12yr+). Merino has natural stretch, so if you're between sizes, size up.

My baby boy was born premature so I was really scared to take him outside we live in Alaska and we have had negative temperatures all winter but I brought this beanie and the onesie for my little boy as a base layer and it has kept him so warm I can’t recommend it enough!!

I love that that hat is small enough to stuff in my pocket but will keep my daughter warm - perfect for when she “doesn’t want to wear a hat” but I know “I’m cold” is right around the corner. :)
I ordered the light purple hat back in 2021, and we’re still using it! I love how well this hat fits—it stays snug without falling down over the kids’ eyes and is thin enough to fit comfortably under a hood. The wool is incredibly soft; we even used one on our newborn. Such a great, long-lasting piece!
Love this hat for my 4 month old baby! We put it on him in it almost everyday. I’m not anxious about him being cold or overheating. I got the onesie too. I got the 6-12 month size and I’m sure it’ll fit him until he’s one.

We have two hats for our babe. They were a God-send! My baby’s head was in 98th percentile and I couldn’t find a hat that fit him. We found iksplore! Ordered one in grey, then another in green. Use them both. Works very well, tight on head with enough elasticity to not be too tight but doesn’t let cold draft in. 6 months in, Very happy w my purchase.

We love this beanie! We don’t leave the house without it :) it’s amazing that you make merino wool beanies and clothing for babies. I’ll definitely be buying more as my son gets bigger so that he’s prepared for any adventure.

We love our beanie and thermal set in Peak pink. This the only beanie that hasn’t fallen off or my daughter hasn’t clawed off of her head. My baby has a 17 inch head which the sizing chart put him at the 2-12 year size despite him being 4 months old 😋 The hat is a tad large but fits him well when you roll up the opening a couple times. I'm glad I got this size because I'm sure it'll fit him a long time. Also, I'm in love with the fabric and the yellow color 💛
Absolutely love the merino wool beanie for my 5 month old. With it being winter and having to layer your little one, I'm always checking dor overheating. With the merino wool beanie, plus base layers my baby is always kept at the right temperature when we are outside exploring! Plus it's a nice comfortable fit!

This is the second beanie I got for our daughter and we love the way they fit and look. The color choices are fantastic and it is the only hat that really holds back her hair. Bought hats and merino blankets before a camping trip. Kept us warm and comfortable throughout our first camping experience with the kids. Blankets kept us warm at night in the tent with our sleeping bags. Incredible quality and customer service! Definitely recommend and will be buying base layers.

We love our iksplor hat. We worried when we had a baby that we wouldn’t get to enjoy all our same outdoor activity right away. While it looks very different going to the ski resort with a 10 day old, mom got to hang out in the camper with our baby, Reed, and feel confident that he is nice and warm when out in the elements with his well fitting and warm hat.

My kids love their hats. They actually wear them unlike most other hats they’ve had in the past! They’re comfortable, lightweight, and the bright colors help me spot my kids from a distance. We got the 2-10y size for my 3 and 6 year olds, and the adult size for my daughter who is about to turn 9. The hats may not be sufficient for extreme cold but would be great for layering under a thicker hat or a hood. I’m pleased with the investment.
My 3-year old loves her new hat and neckie. This is not for crazy cold days, but the hat works really well so far in terms of staying on her head and covering her ears - I love that! And I confess I also have worn it several days and it's very comfortable on my head also, I'll probably be getting another one for me :-)

This hat is the best! I swear it’s magical - the merino is so thin and light, but somehow kept my head nice and toasty warm during the winter! It also was the perfect coverage for cool spring hikes and the color is a great contrast for photos in nature :)
