Fabric
100% Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) Merino Wool
230gsm, 18.9 micron — lightweight, breathable, and perfect for year-round use
Where It's Made
Our merino wool pieces are thoughtfully crafted in Vietnam by skilled artisans following RWS guidelines. We believe in producing responsibly and sustainably, ensuring fair working conditions for the people behind our products.
How to Care
- Machine wash on the gentle cycle with cool or cold water and a mild or wool-specific detergent
- Lay flat to dry to preserve shape and softness, or tumble dry on low with similar items
- Hang outside for a few hours to refresh between washes — merino naturally resists odours and bacteria, so it rarely needs a full wash
Storage
Store in a clean, dry space. Use airtight bags or bins and add cedar blocks or lavender sachets to prevent moths. Wash or air out periodically to remove any residue that may attract them.
- Free standard shipping on orders over $160
- Ships within 24 hours: Monday through Thursday, excluding holidays
- Free Exchanges: Initiate a return or exchange here

the magic of merino
not all blankets are built the same
better adventures
Use it as a swaddle, travel blanket, everyday comforter, or backcountry towel. Its lightweight design makes it easy to toss into a carry-on or daypack, so you can take it wherever your adventures lead.
better for the planet
Merino comes from our wooly friends, the merino sheep. Unlike polyester/synthetic fabrics that end up in our landfills for hundreds of years (yikes), the adventure blanket can be composted in six months.

- machine-washable for easy care
what families are saying
adventures well with
Yes, always. No blends, no synthetics, ever. The Adventure Blanket is 100% RWS certified merino wool. Renewable, biodegradable, and the real reason it performs the way it does.
48x48 inches. Big enough to wrap a grown-up, generous enough for a toddler fort, and packable enough to fold into a stroller pocket or daypack.
Yes. At 18.9 microns, the fibers are fine enough to bend rather than poke, which is what makes merino feel soft rather than scratchy. It's gentle on most sensitive skin from day one.
Honestly, the whole family. It starts as a swaddle, becomes a stroller cover, a nursing cover, a hiking layer, a camp blanket, and a fort. Most of our customers tell us their kids are still using it years later.
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with a wool-friendly detergent. Lay flat to dry. Merino holds its shape and softness wash after wash. No special treatment needed.
It's one of our most-gifted products, especially for new babies. It arrives beautifully packaged and lasts long enough to become a family staple rather than something that gets outgrown in a season.
Resell it through Iksplor More and give it a second life with another family. Or compost it. 100% merino biodegrades in months, not centuries.
