fabric & care Plus

Fabric: 100% Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) Merino Wool

Weight: 200 gsm, 18.9 micron – lightweight, breathable, and perfect for year-round use

Where it's Made: Our merino wool sets are thoughtfully crafted in Vietnam by skilled artisans following RWS guidelines. We believe in producing responsibly and sustainably, ensuring fair working conditions for the people behind our products.

How to Care:

  1. Machine Wash: Use the gentle cycle with cool water and a mild or wool-specific detergent.
  2. Drying: Lay flat to dry to preserve shape and softness. Alternatively, tumble dry on low with similar items.
  3. Refreshing Without Washing: Merino wool naturally resists odors and bacteria, so it doesn't require frequent washing. Simply hang your merino outside for a few hours to restore freshness.
  4. Preventing Moth Holes: Store your merino garments in a clean, dry space. Use airtight storage bags or bins to block moth access. Add natural moth repellents, such as cedar blocks or lavender sachets, to your storage area. Wash or air out your garments periodically to remove odors or residues that may attract moths.

• 5. Adventure Ready: Once clean and dry, your merino is ready for all your journeys, big or small!

the magic of merino

moisture wicking

Merino pulls moisture away from the skin, keeping you dry and warm on every adventure.

soft & cozy

Your skin deserves the softest touch, and merino delivers without any itch.

just-right temp

Not too hot, not too cold - merino intuitively adapts, ensuring you stay comfy, cozy and cool.

easy care

Cause life. Our merino is machine washable and can be laid flat or tumbled to dry.

better adventures

The next-to-skin layer is the most important! Our merino keeps you dry, warm, and comfortable—making every adventure outdoors better and longer.

better for the planet

Merino comes from our wooly friends, the merino sheep. Unlike polyester/synthetic fabrics that end up in our landfills for hundreds of years (yikes), the iksplorer neckie can be composted in six months.

  • 100% natural merino wool—renewable and biodegradable
  • machine-washable for easy care
