The Kids Merino Adventure Tank is built from the same 100% merino wool as the rest of the Iksplor range, in a sleeveless cut designed for warm weather days. Merino regulates temperature naturally, so it stays comfortable whether your kids are hiking in full sun or cooling down in the shade. The built-in UPF 50 means arms and torso are protected without sunscreen on covered skin.
On cooler mornings or at altitude it layers easily under a long sleeve, mid layer, or down jacket without bulk. Most Iksplor families find it works just as well as a pyjama top on warm camping nights as it does on the trail during the day.
Room to grow is built in. Each size covers a two-year range, so you get at least a full season of proper fit and usually a second before sizing up.

How to Care
- Machine wash on the gentle cycle with cool or cold water and a mild or wool-specific detergent
- Lay flat to dry to preserve shape and softness, or tumble dry on low with similar items
- Hang outside for a few hours to refresh between washes — merino naturally resists odours and bacteria, so it rarely needs a full wash
Storage
Store in a clean, dry space. Use airtight bags or bins and add cedar blocks or lavender sachets to prevent moths. Wash or air out periodically to remove any residue that may attract them.

These top and short sets are my kids new go to out fits! So comfy and dry fast! They have been perfect for summer adventures!
Obsessed!! We have the long base layers and these tanks and shorts are the best addition! We got pink 2-3 year size for my toddler who is in 2T and they fit a little big at the moment but she will have plenty of time and space to grow into them! The shorts go to her knees right now but still fit great around the waist. My nephew is also in 2T and fits him great, but space for the future.
Can confirm that these tanks and shorts are cozy and soft on the skin. According to my seven year old they’re also great for cart wheels and snuggling up in her sleeping bag. My kiddo loves mixing and matching the fun colors, I love the functionality of having her in woollies in the backcountry when we backpack. Including not having to pack as many changes of clothes for the kiddo given these fit the bill for day wear and pjs 🙌

Perfect tank top for my kids. From gymnastics class, to bike rides on sunny days, to layering under a down jacket, to hiking trails. This is quickly becoming an everyday item! There’s room to grow and I suspect we will get 2 or more years out of these tanks. The quality always exceeds my expectations from iksplor and the colors are forever a favorite with all my kids!
Super excited for these new layers! We live in our long baselayers in the winter, but will now live in our SHORT baselayers in the summer. My girls (2 and 4) say they’re super soft and begged to wear them to bed after adventuring in them all day - the beauty of merino wool. As always, the color options are very fun. I’d say they run a little on the big side, which makes sense because each size covers two sizes - and that’s great because they will get more wear. 100% worth the investment.

I know these are technically summer layers, but these are the PERFECT extra winter layer. We’ve had a super cold winter with regular sub-zero temps and these are perfect for that extra warm torso layer. They are nice and thick making them warmer. The neck/head hole runs tight - and my kiddos do not have larger than normal heads. I usually have to stretch it out a bit before pulling the kiddos’ heads through. They also run long in the torso - perfect for the tall kids! 🙌 All in all it is an amazing tank. The thickness of the fabric is awesome. And it’s nice and warm. My kiddos wear theirs for days on end and LOVE them!

I've been looking for wool underlayers that my daughter can use as pajamas on our travels, and these are perfect! You don't always know whether lodging will run warm or cool, but I know these will help her maintain her body temperature while sleeping. She says they are comfortable and fit great!
