Merino Adventure Blanket
"We bring our blanket everywhere. It kept me warm during a thunderstorm at 10,000ft, served as a towel after swimming in alpine lakes, and was a picnic blanket next to high mountain streams." — 5th generation outfitter, Wilson/Jackson Hole WY
Swaddle. Stroller blanket. Beach towel. Travel companion. The one blanket that does everything — and folds smaller than all of them. 4ft x 4ft, packable enough for any bag.
The Merino Adventure Blanket is the first thing you grab on the way out the door. Twice the size of most baby blankets, but folds up smaller and packs into a stroller pocket or diaper bag without a second thought.

The Merino Adventure Blanket is the one piece of gear that never stays home. Made from 100% merino wool, it's soft, stretchy, lightweight, and packable. And somehow warm enough for alpine conditions and breathable enough for a beach day.
Customers have used it as a swaddle for newborns, a stroller cover in winter, a beach towel in Hawaii, a picnic blanket at high alpine lakes, a pillow on long flights, a fort for toddlers, and a cape for big kids. One customer kept their baby warm during a thunderstorm at 10,000 feet. Another used it as a towel after swimming in Alaskan lakes. It's been to rural South Asia, Alaska, Hawaii, and everywhere in between.
The size is what sets it apart. At 4ft x 4ft it's generous enough for adults but folds to a square small enough for a stroller pocket. No other blanket in your rotation does this.
Machine washable, quick-dry, no pilling, no stretching out of shape. Customers consistently report it looks as good after years of washing as the day they bought it.
The perfect gift for a new baby and for anyone who is never too old for a great blanket.

How to Care
- Machine wash on the gentle cycle with cool or cold water and a mild or wool-specific detergent
- Lay flat to dry to preserve shape and softness, or tumble dry on low with similar items
- Hang outside for a few hours to refresh between washes — merino naturally resists odours and bacteria, so it rarely needs a full wash
Storage
Store in a clean, dry space. Use airtight bags or bins and add cedar blocks or lavender sachets to prevent moths. Wash or air out periodically to remove any residue that may attract them.

the magic of merino
better adventures
Use it as a swaddle, travel blanket, everyday comforter, or backcountry towel. Its lightweight design makes it easy to toss into a carry-on or daypack, so you can take it wherever your adventures lead.
better for the planet
Merino comes from our wooly friends, the merino sheep. Unlike polyester/synthetic fabrics that end up in our landfills for hundreds of years (yikes), the adventure blanket can be composted in six months.
- 100% natural merino wool—renewable and biodegradable
- machine-washable for easy care
